PREAMBLE

In recognition of the inherent dignity, freedom, and consciousness of the human soul, the members and founders of the International Souler Society (Isouls) hereby establish this Charter as the guiding foundation for the Society’s ethical, professional, and spiritual mission.

Rooted in values of compassion, integrity, and self-awareness, Isouls exists to promote spiritual professionalism, safeguard moral principles, and cultivate international collaboration among soul practitioners and consciousness researchers worldwide.

The Society recognizes that the evolution of the inner self contributes to the well-being of humanity and to the harmony of all cultures. This Charter, founded in the spirit of non-commercial contribution and mutual respect, aims to preserve the purity of spiritual work, protect individual autonomy, and advance the shared pursuit of enlightenment and truth.

Established in Heidelberg, Germany, this document binds all members of Isouls to uphold the ethical ideals set forth herein, ensuring that every action taken under the Society’s name reflects sincerity, transparency, and the sacred responsibility of serving the soul.

  Article 1 – Name and Domain

Section 1.1 The full name of the organization shall be International Souler Society (abbreviated as Isouls).

Section 1.2 The organization may adopt and operate under related domain names consistent with this title.

  Article 2 – Place of Establishment

Section 2.1 The organization is founded in Heidelberg, Germany.

Section 2.2 Heidelberg, as an academic and cultural center, provides a suitable environment for the development of nonprofit organizations and professional associations.

  Article 3 – Legal Status

Section 3.1 Isouls is a lawful but unregistered association (Nicht eingetragener Verein, §54 BGB), operating as an Idealverein (§21 BGB) without monetary assets or financial gain.

Section 3.2 The legal foundation of Isouls rests upon the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch – BGB), including:

  • §21 BGB – Definition of Idealverein: Nonprofit association without commercial purpose.
  • §54 BGB – Nicht eingetragener Verein: Unregistered association governed by partnership principles (GbR), with limited member liability defined herein.
  • §58 BGB – Satzung: Specifies purpose, membership, rights, duties, board composition, and meeting procedures.
  • §§55–79 BGB – Vereinsrecht: General association law governing representation and responsibilities.

  Article 4 – Purpose

Section 4.1 To establish international professional standards for soul-based practice.

Section 4.2 To formulate ethical and moral codes for the profession.

Section 4.3 To elevate the global status of soul-related disciplines.

Section 4.4 To protect individuals’ spiritual integrity against commercial manipulation and unethical conduct.

  Article 6 – Membership System

Section 6.1 Membership applications shall be handled by third-party authorized institutions.

Section 6.2 Applicants must submit professional credentials, curriculum vitae, and academic documentation.

Section 6.3 Verified applications shall be forwarded to Isouls for final approval.

Section 6.4 Accepted applicants shall hold the title Professional Committee Member, gaining voting and decision rights.

Section 6.5 Members must undergo continuing education and spiritual professional training.

Section 6.6 Voluntary resignation is permitted at any time via written notice, without sanctions or remaining obligations.

  Article 7 – Contributions and Participation

Section 7.1 The organization shall uphold a non-financial operation principle.

Section 7.2 No membership fee or mandatory contribution shall be imposed.

Section 7.3 Activities are sustained by voluntary contributions in non-monetary forms (time, knowledge, service).

  Isouls operates without profit motive – all engagement is based on voluntary dedication.

  Article 8 – Code of Ethics

Section 8.1 Members shall respect individual spiritual autonomy.

Section 8.2 Members shall maintain honesty and integrity in professional practice.

Section 8.3 All spiritual communications must remain confidential.

Section 8.4 Commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited.

Section 8.5 Continuous education and personal improvement are mandatory.

Section 8.6 Misleading or manipulative actions are absolutely forbidden.

Section 8.7 Ethical violations shall be reviewed by the Professional Committee, which may terminate membership.

  Article 9 – Organizational Structure

Section 9.1 Isouls operates as a nonprofit foundation governed by this Charter.

Section 9.2 The Professional Committee shall consist of 5–15 members elected by majority vote.

Section 9.3 The Chairperson serves a 2-year term and may be re-elected.

Section 9.4 The Chairperson shall represent the organization externally. Major decisions require majority approval from the Committee.

Section 9.5 A General Assembly shall be held annually—electronically or in person—and its resolutions adopted by majority vote.

  Article 10 – Strategic Objectives

Section 10.1 Promote international professionalization of soul work through certification and accreditation standards.

Section 10.2 Maintain and update ethical codes regularly.

Section 10.3 Foster global cooperation and intercultural dialogue.

Section 10.4 Uphold dignity of the soul while preventing unethical market influences.

  Ratified by the Founding Professional Committee
